Rezan Organization for Development is dedicated to preventing and responding to gender-based violence (GBV) through a comprehensive and survivor-centered approach. By addressing the root causes of GBV and challenging harmful gender norms, the organization works to foster safer, more equitable communities across Iraq.
Through awareness campaigns, educational initiatives, and community outreach, Rezan promotes respectful relationships and gender equality. In parallel, the organization provides essential support services for survivors, including psychosocial counseling, legal aid, and referrals to medical care—ensuring survivors receive the protection, dignity, and assistance they need to heal and recover.
